ServicesCapabilitiesMachining, and the engineering that comes before it
Schwantek machines custom metal parts to your specifications. When a drawing or model doesn't exist yet, we build one with you. Every part we design is reviewed and refined for manufacturability before machining.
With a print or a 3D model, most quotes go out within one business day. A dimensioned sketch or a photograph is enough to start if you do not have a CAD file.
What we do
Machining is one half of the job. The engineering around it is the other.
- CNC machiningMilling and turning in aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, and specialty alloys. Prototype quantities through short production runs. See the CNC machining page.
- Design for manufacturingWe will review your design and provide feedback to help lower production costs and improve the quality of the final assembly. We simplify the manufacturing process to minimize risk.
- CAD modelingDon't have a 3D model? We will build the model with you. Provide us with whatever information you have available. We will assist in the design process and build your model from the ground up.
- Reverse engineering and 3D scanningWith 3D scanning we can help reverse engineer complex geometries and organic shapes. This technology also allows us to design around existing components to ensure parts will fit exactly as intended without numerous design revisions.

Materials
We specialize in machining metal.
We machine aluminum, carbon steel, stainless steel, and specialty alloys. Tell us the grade your print calls for and we will confirm it at quoting.
Material families
- Aluminum
- Carbon Steel
- Stainless Steel
- Specialty Alloys
Parts we make
From a single replacement component to every part in an assembly.
- Machined componentsTight-tolerance, high-quality parts inspected and verified to meet customer specifications.
- Obsolete and replacement partsNeed a part repaired or replaced that isn't commercially available? We can work from a drawing or use the existing part to produce an accurate model and reproduce otherwise obsolete components.
- Complete part setsWe manufacture every custom component in an assembly, taking into account any off-the-shelf products involved. We make sure the parts come together and function as intended.
- Prototype to productionProve the design with a first article. Make any necessary adjustments to improve function or simplify the manufacturing process, then move to full production.
